Being an effective and efficient practitioner in any field requires staying abreast of current knowledge of trending topics. The diploma program in investigation and protection is a series of industry-specific courses offered to those already working as security or investigation professionals. It offers instruction in technology, criminal and civil investigation, criminal justice, and computer analysis, and surveillance. Not every job requires a degree. This program can afford you the opportunity to build new skills and credentials to validate your efforts.

PROGRAM OBJECTIVE: To equip the graduate with the ability to enter the workforce as a professional investigator to perform effectively.

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION: This is designed to provide participants with a working knowledge of the background, concepts, and practices of private investigation. Students will be exposed to content and experiences ranging from background research to interviewing and questioning. They will develop working knowledge of both criminal and civil investigations, as well as the differences in providing services for corporations and individuals.

PRE-REQUISITES: None

A full time student will complete the program in 4 months. A part-time student has one year to complete the program.

Upon completion of the program, the student will receive a Diploma in Investigations and Protection for the Professional in the Private and Public Sectors and transcripts.

DISCLOSURE: Upon completion student may seek employment in Investigation and Protection and related fields.

DISCLOSURE: This program does not make students eligible to apply for the “C” or ‘CC” Private Investigator Licensure.
